They’re charging 5* prices for something that falls short at a 3* grade - inconsistent service. )....very small room, cracked furniture, mattress definitely passed its best and cushions and throws still in beds (thought these were supposed to have been removed because of Covid ) No tv channels...only radio and breakfast massive £15 per person on top of extortionate room rate....give it a miss. Was a huge disappointment sadly. After various owners it was bought by Joe George and operated as the George’n, an exclusive club to select Scuba Divers. The food was so overcooked it was inedible. The hotel features family rooms. Good: - Nice location - easy to park - food is good if not overpriced Not good: - way overpriced for what you get. More Emmas and this hotel would be exceptional. Hairs in the extractor fan and dust in the room/carpets - tiny shower cubicle - careful not to bruise your head and an electric shower in a hotel in 2020 - room gets really hot at night. They automatically reduced the room rate when I had to travel on my own which was unexpected and very kind of them like the electrical switch for the bathroom a general paint of the bathroom and the fact my room wasn't made up after my first night's stay. But this may have been due to me having the room key, even if I would expect they would have more than one key. Fitness tracker recorded a measly 5 hours sleep and you want your eyes open for the stunning scenery of Mull. My room was small but very nice and cosy.
