The whole experience was about two hours long.

I wasn't too sure if that was the effect that the chef wanted or it was just the fact that the tuna might have been  too thick as they were all cube like but I just didn't get a good taste from it. Groupon has verified that the customer actually visited Benihana Japanese Steakhouse. I wouldn’t visit here again but if I had to (every other restaurant was closed) then I’d avoid the calamari and teriyaki steak!! So tender worth every dollar! They cook it right in front of you and its one of the best eating expericances ever.

Four crispy jumbo shrimp and asparagus, togarashi-coconut dipping sauce, house made tempura sauce. I'm thinking about taking my very well-behaved 4-year-old for a special dinner. Brewed from fresh Ontario spring water and prepared in accordance with traditional Junmai (pure rice) methods, this high-end sake bears a distinct fruity flavor and makes a perfect beverage to raise in reverence to your chef. However this time I ordered the Benihana special (shrimp and chicken) and up until the preparation of the chicken, everything was good....The chef prepared the chicken as one of the last items and then plopped (yes, plopped) teriyaki sauce all over the chicken and then slopped this on my plate which was still full with shrimp, zucchini, onion, mushrooms. The place is pricey but the quantities are sufficient to split a serving! Benihana serves certified Halal meat options. I don’t often use the word bland but this time it describes the food perfectly. Benihana's teppanyaki menu features filet mignon, lobster, scallops with shrimp, and ahi tuna, all of which are cooked hibachi-style and served with veggies, salad, soup, and the chef's headshot and Broadway résumé.
