Good luck, I have a couple of ordinary pressings and the Classic Recordings version which is extremely good, but I agree that the MFSL 45 version is really outstanding and also the best I have heard.

The black vinyl MOV version is about $40. Terre Haute pressing variant of the first stereo mispress issue. Beyond that, from what I understand is that due to a tape machine being off, side one of the stereo LP was at a slightly wrong speed until this was discovered in 1992.

Didn’t it take until the 1990s for someone to remaster it at the correct speed?

I've never listened to Miles Davis Kind of Blue on vinyl, and there are so many pressings and half the reviews say they are mp3's pressed to vinyl and sound like crap, some say get the 45, Discogs is impossible to see which is best. purchased from Carlton AV in music maker package.

Ktony Sadly the original master tapes are lost for this amazing album, so the SQ of all the represses will be compromised. Thing is, I always sort of loved the tape hiss evident in the recording, however now that I have much better gear, and in particular have been auditioning a new hand built amp with exception detail, the hiss drives me mad!
