There are three Galaxy models, and IIRC, the Galaxy and Super have the same frame, with a horizontal top tube, while the Ultra has a sloping top tube, in the older ranges. So my 2019 Super Galaxy has mm rear spacing as standard, Dawes stamped into the top of the dating and external galaxy number on the top tube. New LHTs are fully loaded however, and will do everything you may wish to do.

mick why not go for simple bits to get bike mobile and see how you get on , if you feel that you like what you have then just do bits that need doing as you go along , as you might end up spending loads doing her up and then not liking it.

Is it worth the money? On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, I’d rate the Galaxy line a solid 8.
